This programme is ideal for individuals who are energetic, approachable, and committed to making a difference in their community.

However, some employers may set their own entry requirements, such as specific GCSE grades or experience in volunteering or coaching. If you have not yet achieved a GCSE Grade 3/D or E (or equivalent) in English and Maths, you will be required to complete Functional Skills Level 1 in these subjects as part of your apprenticeship. Don’t worry—support will be provided to help you achieve these essential qualifications alongside your training.

At the end of the programme, you’ll complete an End Point Assessment (EPA). This includes a practical coaching session, a professional discussion, and a review of your portfolio to demonstrate your competence and readiness to work independently as a community activator coach.
